Friday Inspiration **Self Acceptance**

Self Acceptance

We want to remind you of the power of self-acceptance.
Beating yourself up,
being self critical,
being hard on yourself,
noticing how far you still have to go instead of how far you've come...
never works!
This "beat myself into submission" strategy for change is scientifically proven to be totally ineffective!
Instead - do what sports and business winners throughout history have done: practice self-acceptance...self love
Be gentle on yourself,
notice what's working,
get excited about your progress - however small,
be fierce in your self-pride and confidence that your progress will build on itself.

You'll discover how powerful it is.
Acceptance will allow you to move faster,
experience more success,
and just plain have more JOY in your life!
Isn't that the point?

Who Are You On The Inside?
Who Are You On The Outside?

Accomplished. Successful. Kind. We want to appear as though we have our lives all together, with no stress or strain.

But on the inside we often feel unfocused, over-tired, under-appreciated and hyper-critical of ourselves and the people around us.

This dissonance between the person we would like to be on the outside and the person we feel that we are on the inside can create stress. And not just any stress, mind you - this is the kind of stress that will take a physical toll, that will impair your creativity and that will sabotage your attempts at positive change. In other words, the gulf between your insides and outsides can create stress that exacerbates the gulf between your insides and your outsides.

Ready to get off of the merry-go-round?

Dr. Steven Sideroff, Clinical Director of Moonview Sanctuary, and our GUEST EXPERT on the Success Coaching For Women Expert Plug-In Call on June 23rd at 5:30pm (PDT) has developed a simple, clear nine-stage strategy for bringing your inner and outer selves into better alignment.

"Accomplished people work at an all-consuming pace, regardless of the toll it takes on their personal lives. They try to sustain an extraordinary level of proficiency, even when the pressures of life cause tension and distractions that impact performance."

He goes on to enumerate the nine components for creating a balanced life with maximum resilience and peak performance, including: relationships with self, others and "something greater"; physical, emotional and cognitive mastery and finally, mastery of "process" elements, including "presence, flexibility and power, or the ability to get things done."

Weekly Inspiration--Failure

Happy Friday from Amy and Melissa with Success Coaching for Women and Electric Kites Success Coaching.

Winston Churchill said,

"Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm."

Yet often times we make failures mean that we are a permanent failure...
that we'll never amount to anything.

What do you equate failure with?

What would happen if you decided to drop that story
and instead decided to move forward with enthusiasm?

Who would you BE without your story of failure?

We want all of you to be brilliantly failing
because it means that you're risking
and up to big things!

In fact, failing will lead to success
because you learn
and you grow.

Go from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm
so you can experience even bigger success!

And we look forward to having members of Success Coaching For Women
on Monday's Success Focus Call at noon PST
and on Monday's expert call at 5:30pm PDT.

Happy weekend!

Inspiration for you! Keeping Promises to Yourself

Happy Friday!

We want to remind you how important it is to make and KEEP promises with yourself.
It is one of the building blocks of confidence and self esteem
We want you to be able to count on you
Take an honest look: Do you ever promise yourself that you'll do something
(Ya know, like working out regularly or making important calls?)
only to get to lose sight of that commitment
and later realize it didn't get done?
Imagine what that's doing to your self confidence!
And your sense of personal success!
Notice how it impacts your relationship with YOU!
We want you to be as committed to yourself
as you are to your best friend, partner, children
even more so !
So begin, today
right now
to take your commitments to yourself seriously
Here some tools to help you:
Start small - underpromise and overdeliver
Make time for the commitment
if you make a promise to yourself to exercise 3 x in a week, schedule it in your book!
Be willing to say "no" to others -
So you can honor yourself first.
Happy Weekend!

Inspiration for you! Leap Frog Actions!

We want to remind you that you are allowed to take leap frog actions.

Actions that allow you to leap over obstacles and challenges.
Actions that allow you to leap frog over 10 ineffective, time consuming actions.
For example, do you have a project you're thinking of beginning from scratch?
Why not simply partner with someone who has already begun and join forces?
You'll leap frog right over the foundation work.
And begin your project ahead of the game.
We want all of you to have more ease in your life!
And to utilize your energy and time to its fullest potential.
So find the actions in your life right now that will allow you to leap frog.
Where can you take a bold action that will help you accomplish many things in a single bound?
Now go do it!
