Friday Inspiration **How to Have It All**
We assert that you CAN have it all without doing it all
· In truth, the only way you can have it all
· Is when you don’t do it all.
· You must put your dream team in place.
· The team that will allow you to leverage your strengths,
· And manage your weaknesses.
· So take a look at your vision
· Your ideal life
· Your dream
· Your version of having it all
· And imagine the team that will help you get there.
· What are your strengths that you must leverage to have it all?
· Are you brilliant at sales?
· A master organizer?
· Great at coming up with a vision?
· Next look at the holes in your knowledge, skills, resources:
· Do you need a tech guru?
· A person to manage your schedule?
· A housekeeper to do the dishes and laundry?
· Now begin to assemble your dream team so you can realize your dreams
Stop trying to do it all, so you can have it all!

**Friday Inspriation** I am never upset for the reason I think
A Course in Miracles
Teaches us that “I am never upset for the reason I think”
This idea can be used with any person, situation or event you think is causing you pain.
So, take a look at your life right now and notice if there is any upset, anger, fear, worry, depression.
Notice why you THINK you are upset,
And try the following:
When the feeling of upset comes, say to yourself I am not ( angry, afraid, depressed ) for the reason I think.
Then, take a moment to examine the layer underneath the upset.
Notice how much history comes into play.
Notice the story you are carrying about the upset.
Notice the rational you have for feeling the way you feel.
For example, let's say your partner didn't take out the trash
You would say, "I am not angry at my partner for the reason I think. "
As you consider underlying reasons for your upset you may find that you are actually more afraid than angry
You may be afraid that you will always have to do all the housework in your partnership
Or that you cannot count on your partner to keep an agreement
As you begin to unravel the true source of your upset
You will understand options for addressing the true concern
And you will move closer to being truly free from your pain.
We want to remind you that you may not be upset for the reason you think.
And that you have the power to heal the true source of your upset.

Friday Inspiration **Use your resources wisely"
"I use my resources wisely."
· How true is that statement for you?
· In this time in which our nation is re-examining its use of its financial resources, its natural resources and its leadership resources,
· how about taking a look at your own "resource management"?
· Repeat each of these statements after me:
· "I manage my energy wisely",
· "I manage my money wisely"
· "I manage my consumption of our planet's resources wisely"
· "I manage my affection wisely"
· "I manage my time wisely"
· Which are true for you? How did it feel to affirm your good judgment?
· Take a moment to think: what resource do you manage brilliantly?
· What's your secret? Do you make sure you always get enough sleep?
· Do you walk to the market instead of driving?
· Do you always invest the maximum in your retirement accounts?
· Are you careful about not over-extending yourself?
· Good for you!
· Now, is there a resource you habitually squander?
· What is it?
· What is one small step you could take to be a better "resource manager" for yourself?
· Our responsibilities are a GIFT - so take this opportunity to use your gifts wisely and well.
· Use your resources wisely so that you can attract even more success!
· Happy Friday!

Friday Inspiration **The Art of Puzzling**
We want to take a moment today to remind you of the Art of Puzzling
We all have recurring challenges that are layered and difficult to solve
- You know, those “issues” that seem to hang around and torment or worry at you -
Yours may be a persistent and frustrating habit,
Such as the tendency towards overwhelm…
It may be a consistently troublesome relationship…
Or a big event - like the loss of a loved one,
In any case, you find yourself puzzling over the thing for hours at a time.
Now, when our brains are entangled with little puzzles
- SMALL negative thoughts -
they can be soothed or solved with a simple new perspective.
But when our brains are putting together a 2000 piece puzzle
Finding the solution requires a different approach!
Remember the last big puzzle you put together?
Did you solve the puzzle by taking one piece out of the box at a time and easily placing it neatly in the exact spot that would make sense for the whole?
Noooooooooooooooooooooo!
Think about it! You dumped the entire box out on the table
And THEN sorted through the pieces, finding the easiest pieces to arrange
…Those corner pieces!…
And when you had the basic frame of the puzzle defined,
you began arranging the other scattered pieces within those boundaries.
You then work ed on the more easily recognizable parts of the puzzle – like the faces or houses –
leaving the more difficult, unrecognizable parts
-like the sky-
till last.
You assembled PARTS of the puzzle as you went,
And the puzzle only began to make sense when chunks of it were complete.
Now back your that recurring big challenge-- the 2000 piece of a puzzle that defies easy solutions.
Try determining the frame of basic truths first,
Then move on to one aspect of your puzzle at a time,
piecing together understanding in that one area alone.
When the main chunks of understanding come together,
The whole puzzle will suddenly make sense!
Try determining the frame of basic truths first,
Then move on to one aspect of your puzzle at a time,
piecing together understanding in that one area alone.
When the main chunks of understanding come together,
The whole puzzle will suddenly make sense!
Practice the ART of Puzzling,
By patiently piecing together small pieces of understanding,
Until the last piece of clarity glides effortlessly into place!
By patiently piecing together small pieces of understanding,
Until the last piece of clarity glides effortlessly into place!
